Move in Ready was born out of necessity. As a new first time mid term rental landlord in 2025, in a major US city, I was beyond frustrated with the industry's current number one mid term platform service. I could not believe how many features it lacked! My condo is located in a very busy city with hundreds of MTRs. My listing was buried under hundreds of listings to such a point that I could not even verify it was on the platform! If I could not locate my listing, how could a potential tenant??? I contacted the company to see how I could promote my listing to get to page one, ready to pay more to be seen. After many frustrating conversations with overseas customer service, I found it was not an option. Every time I went on the site, I was beyond frustrated with its inadequacies!

My son, a software engineer, and I work together in our home office, and as he listened to me complain about all the missing components of the existing platform, I asked him if it was possible to build something better. He said absolutely! And so our quest to transform the mid-term rental platform began…

We are passionate about serving this rental segment and think landlords need a better way to promote their listings to tenants and better integration with existing MTR platforms.
